Data Removal

There is nothing on our side to delete
Portover has no account system and no server, and its own code makes no network requests. We never receive your contacts, your calendar, your backup files or any identifier. There is therefore no record of you anywhere for us to erase, and no deletion request to submit.
Everything Portover creates lives on your own device, and you remove it yourself.
Delete a single backup
Open Portover → Backup vault → tap the bin icon next to a backup. The file is removed from the device immediately.
Delete everything Portover has stored
Uninstall the app. Android removes the app's private storage with it, including every backup file in the vault and every stored preference.
Alternatively, without uninstalling: Android Settings → Apps → Portover → Storage → Clear storage. This deletes all backups and resets the app to a fresh state.
Copies you saved or sent yourself
Portover cannot reach files after you have moved them. If you used:
- Save to Downloads — the copy is in
Download/Portover/on your device. Delete it with any file manager. - Send to another phone — the copy is wherever you sent it (a chat, an email, a cloud drive, another phone). Delete it there.
Your contacts and calendar themselves
Portover never modifies them, so nothing needs undoing. Deleting Portover has no effect at all on the contacts and events stored on your phone.
Subscriptions
An active subscription is a record held by Google Play, not by us. Cancel it in the Google Play Store app → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. To ask Google to delete Play account data, use Google's own tools.
